Join us the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend at SF Camerawork, where one of our talented photographers will make a memorable portrait for you, your friends, your family, or even your dog!  What better creative, one-of-a-kind gift can you give for Mother’s Day while supporting San Francisco’s only non-profit gallery dedicated to photography.

Nibbles provided by Bi-Rite Market, sweets provided by Dandelion Chocolate, adult beverages provided by SF Camerawork Board of Directors.

WHAT IS THE PORTRAIT PARTY?

The Portrait Party is a fundraiser for SF Camerawork and an opportunity to have a portrait made by a talented local artist.  The Portrait Party was an annual tradition at SF Camerawork for twenty years.  View vintage flyers from past Portrait Parties below!

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
20 minute photoshoot with a photographer of your choice
1 archival quality print
3 high resolution image files

WHO ARE THIS YEAR'S PHOTOGRAPHERS?

Photographer Jenny Sampson produces breathtaking tintypes in natural light. Each tintype is a unique image –there is only one! 

Award-winning photographer Ellen Shershow creates photographic portraits of two- and four-legged creatures. 

Take your chance and be in an original photograph by artist Alice Shaw, known for her humorous and conceptual use of photography.
