¿WYSIWYG?
Curated by Trena Noval and Laurie Blavin
San Francisco Camerawork and the Oakland Art Gallery present ¿WYSIWYG?.
¿WYSIWYG? features 12 Bay Area artists, whose work is influenced by current technological systems that access, process and compile information. They reconstruct events and scenarios that piece together a new view of place, life, objects or events, there by reordering the viewers experience. Using this as a springboard to address the building of narratives in our data-driven world, the artists impart new meaning to information found in objects, online media, and personal experience.
Gallery Admission is F R E E
Gallery Talks are available for classes and community groups. Please call to schedule: 415-863-1001 or e-mail us.
