2003 Auction of Fine Photographic Prints
A Benefit for San Francisco Camerawork
ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH AT HOSFELT GALLERY, Auctioneer Dale Stulz will start the bidding at 1:00 pm for SF Cameraworks 2003 Auction of Fine Photographic Prints. Over 200 vintage and contemporary photographs will be offered up for Auction.
All photographs for sale may be previewed at the Hosfelt Gallery from December 3-5, and on the day of the Auction, Saturday, December 6th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A special evening preview reception will be held Thursday, December 4, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
Many nationally-known and emerging local photographers, as well as galleries, photography dealers, and collectors nationwide have contributed prints for the Auction, which is a benefit for SF Camerawork, now in its twenty-ninth year of critically-acclaimed artistic programming in photography and related media. This year's highlights include works by noted artists such as Robert Adams, Jim Campbell, Elinor Carucci, William Eggleston, Graciela Iturbide, Simen Johan, Pirkle Jones, Michael Kenna, Mona Kuhn, Jacques Henri Lartigue, Michael Light, Richard Misrach, John O'Reilly, Robert ParkeHarrison, Alan Rath, Holly Roberts, Anne Veraldi, Catherine Wagner, Qingsong Wang, Joel-Peter Witkin, Marion Post Wolcott and many, many others.
Admission is by Auction Catalog only.
The illustrated catalog can be purchased for $12.00 members /$15 general public from Camerawork, Fraenkel Gallery, Scott Nichols Gallery, Hosfelt Gallery and Robert Koch Gallery.
