| An Embarrassing Moment
We were going to perform a Chinese
dance at the Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. My
teacher had accidentally ripped my costume pants in school during our
rehearsal while she was rushing
us to get ready. To keep them
up she had tied a string around my waist. We had already left the building.
When we arrived at the Hall of Flowers, I jumped out of the car. My sister
suddenly screamed and I suddenly realized that my pants fell off. The
string had popped. We were running late so my teacher had
no choice but to fix my pants with safety pins to keep them up.
My sister, dad, and other girls saw what happened. Luckily my friend
Kevin Chan never saw it happen and no one ever told him. People teased
me the rest of the day at school
and my sister Naomi still talks about
it to this day.
