Ghana Youth Photography Project
Jamie Lloyd is a volunteer mentor with SF Camerawork's First Exposures Youth Photography Program. After being a part of this team and witnessing the success of the program she has decided to use First Exposures as a model to run a similar program in the impoverished neighborhood of Nima in the capital city of Accra, Ghana. Last spring she lived in Ghana for three months while working as a photographer at the Daily Graphic Newspaper in Accra. Jamie intends on offering an outlet to Ghanaian youth and giving them an opportunity to show the world what their country is really like through photography.
To help assist Jamie in her goal of bringing a photography program to the youth of Nima, you can make a tax-deductible contribution through SF Camerawork.
