Digital Production Intern

SF Camerawork seeks undergraduate or graduate-level interns.
We are looking for an advanced photography student or recent
graduate who is eager to take on the great responsibility of
producing our digital workflow for a major portrait shoot
fundraiser.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in digital production
software and hardware, and will have strong digital photo
editing skills. This is a unique opportunity to gain professional
experience in commercial photography post-production. After
the Portrait Party event, the bulk of the internship will focus on
post-production and digital processing, culminating in
generating final prints for our clients.

2008 Internships

SF Camerawork is seeking undergraduate or graduate-level interns. An internship experience at SF Camerawork is a great opportunity to get involved in the Bay Area photographic arts community. As an SF Camerawork intern, you will learn about nonprofit arts administration, gallery operations, programming, exhibition installation and much more. In addition to general duties, possible areas of specialization include:

•art handling & installation
•administration & finance

•library management
•event organization
•technology/web
•membership
•education

We are also seeking Development interns.

Development Internship

Commitment: One day per week, 11 am to 5 pm.
Spring session: January 2 - May 31
Summer session: June 3 - August 30
Fall session: September 2 - December 20

Salary: This is an unpaid internship. We can, however, arrange for course credit.

Benefits: Experience with an internationally renowned non-profit art gallery, contacts in the Bay Area and national art community, potential job leads and recommendations.
